Steels for the oil & gas industry

Oil&gas steels have essentially an elevated resistance to heat (700°-800°), oxidation and to atmospheric chemical reactions especially in the presence of lead and flue gases. For this reason, these steel grades are employed in these processes. Furthermore they have sufficient resistance withstanding (without deformations) the loadings they undergo throughout the different stages of the combustion cycle. Therefore, these steels are largely used in the oil sector.
